Inspired by the traditional silver sixpence hidden inside a Christmas pudding, this handmade sterling silver Lucky Sixpence charm is a tiny keepsake with a very special meaning.

In my family, my mum still hides a sixpence in our Christmas pudding every year. Traditionally, whoever finds the sixpence is said to receive good luck and prosperity for the year ahead a little Christmas tradition that inspired me to create my own version in silver.

Handmade in my East Sussex studio, the charm features the words Lucky Sixpence surrounding a little star, with a softly textured recessed background giving it the nostalgic feel of a treasured old coin.

Although inspired by Christmas, this isn’t a charm you’ll put away in January. It’s a good luck charm to wear all year round perfect for a new job, new home, exam, fresh start or simply for someone who could use a little extra luck.
